Big Jim now lives in California but was born and raised in “Sweet Home” Alabama and has eaten boiled peanuts from every region of the South. Even though all were good, some were much better than others and he knows what it takes to make the tastiest peanuts you’ve ever had.
A couple years ago, a buddy in California asked Big Jim if he’d ever heard of peanuts that were fried in the shell. Jim had not heard of them, nor had any of this friends in the South. He investigated and starting frying them immediately. He knew he had a hit when he gave samples to everyone he knew and they LOVED them.
